Our recital series in Sydney is broken up into two categories, the Emerging Artist Recital Series and Violin and Piano Recital Series.
The Emerging Artist Recital Series is made up of 2023 Sydney International Piano Competition prize winners, and the Violin and Piano Recital Series features two prize winners.
Piano+ (Australia), in collaboration with the Michael Hill International Violin Competition (NZ), present two phenomenal young prize-winning soloists in The Young Virtuosi.
The Young Virtuosi brings together two virtuosic soloists of bright subtlety and emotional depth in a concert centered on one of the most beloved instrumental combinations in music, Jeonghwan Kim (piano) and Yeyeong Jenny Jin (violin).

Entering the competition with a weeks’ notice, to become the second youngest competitor to reach the semi-final round, Reuben garnered three different awards at the 2023 Sydney International Piano Competition, including winner Nancy Weir Best Australian pianist. There is no doubt Reuben is an extraordinary performer with a stellar career ahead of him. Catch him on the rise as he performs works by Scarlatti, Faure, Brahms and Mozart.
