Perter will present a recital by historic pianists such as Percy Grainger, Claude Debussy and Sergei Rachmaninoff who recorded their art on reproducing piano rolls that have been digitised by Peter Phillips, enabling the recordings to be played on modern instruments. The performances will be heard on a large (C7) Disklavier Yamaha grand piano.
